Raisin-Nut Granola

Makes: 4 Cups
Raisin-Nut Granola
Ingredients
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/3 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup raw sunflower seeds
  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 2 tbsp raw sesame seeds
  • 1/4 tsp fine salt
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp canola oil
  • 1/2 cup raisins
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or spray with oil and line with parchment paper. Set aside.

  2. Mix oats, almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, flaxseed, sesame seeds, and salt in a large bowl.

  3. Combine honey an oil in a small microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 30 seconds. Stir into the dry ingredients and mix until coated.

  4. Spread mixture in an even layer on baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through to avoid burning, until deep golden brown.

  5. Remove mixture from oven and sprinkle with raisins. Push mixture onto one half of the baking sheet and press into a flat brick. Allow to cool completely, then break into chunks and store in an air-tight container.
